The MH-33 Battery Charger is designed specifically to charge EN-EL18d, EN-EL18c and EN-EL18b rechargeable Lithium-ion batteries. The MH-33 connects to the EH-7P charging AC Adapter which plugs into a wall outlet. The MH-33 can perform calibration of the batteries; and can fully charge an exhausted EN-EL18d battery in about four hours. The MH-33 battery charger cannot be used to charge EN-EL18 or EN-EL18a batteries.

You're buying this to charge an EN-EL18a/b battery. But, this MH-33 does not come with an AC adapter. I spent a great deal of time trying to solve this problem. Some suppliers will tell you that you need an Apple cable. Totally wrong. After many hours of research, I finally found and learned from KEH that I needed a Nikon EH-7P and, in fact, it has arrived and did work. Nikon says the same but I could not immediately order one from Nikon. I could not order one from Amazon. There may be other solutions - I can't speak to that. I do know the EH-7P fills the bill.I rated the MH-33 5 stars because it seems to work (with the adapter) as well as the corresponding for my Nikon D300. If it does not I will log another review. I wish I could review those that listed the MH-33 without an adapter. If so, I would opt for less than 1 star and that woudl likley include Nikon.I hope this helps because it was a major pain for me.
