The good:1. It's the least expensive V-mount charger I've found yet that isn't just D-taps on a transformer.2. It works.3. It's light and seems relatively rugged, made of metal.The bad:HOLY WOW it's LOUD. I mean, it probably can't be in the next room over with the door shut if you're recording audio with anything like a decent mic. It's as loud as all 3 of my other low-cost V-mount chargers COMBINED. And I can tell the fan isn't defective - it's just a fast, small, flow-constricted fan. So if you keep a charging station in your garage or shop or something, it's probably fine. If it's in your office, no thanks. On set? Absolutely not.
