I love the Leica lense on my old Lumix, and the original Li-ion battery is a gem, so I figured a cheap charger was well worth it, even if the camera's getting old. This charger looks identical to a dozen others but cost less than four dollars. It quit after one use, leaving me stranded at a crucial time. I took it apart for a visual inspection but couldn't spot any problem that way. I figure I must have got what I paid for. I ordered a new one with a different name on the outside for 19.95--but it looks identical in design. So far it works fine.
