The solar is a bit weak but could work in a pinch. I do recommend them !!!This battery was totally dead when it arrived. I had to "shock" it to get it to charge. Once I did, it charged and appears to be fine. It's holding the charge so far. Of 5 of this style, this is the first one arriving totally discharged.
