This full-sized bed with open footboard is perfect for my tween's room. After searching locally to all of the furniture stores, along with any retailer carrying beds, I decided to spend some time searching on Amazon. I found this bed and wanted to give it a try. It was delivered more quickly than expected, all intact, no crushed or ripped boxes and no broken pieces. Other reviews have been slightly negative regarding assembly. I did not have an issue with the assembly. The pieces lined up perfectly, the little doors on the cubbies of the headboard are completely flush and the bed couldn't be more sturdy. The added USB port that you can attach to any place on the bed is great for electronics. I like that it is optional and separate from the actual frame of the bed (some beds have the USB port right in the headboard, etc). It took two adults under two hours to have this bed completely set up and made with sheets and comforter. My child loves this bed and is so happy to have it!
