This is a very sturdy and beautiful bed. It was not difficult to put together with one exception. One of the holes for a barrel screw was not quite deep enough and it took my husband’s brute strength to finally force it deep enough for the screw to go through. Directions were adequate if you’ve put furniture together before and each hardware kit included extra pieces by design. It includes two different length legs to make the height adjustable. I would recommend you have a rubber mallet to insert wooden dowels. I would buy this bed again.
