Feb 2025: The charger I bought in 2020 finally died after weekly use. The fan started to rattle and after one more month it was dead. I have two carts and two ezgo chargers in my detached garage. One cart does not like the ezgo charger so I use this one at the house. It is a slow charger, about 7% per hour. It keeps my carts running in top shape and is so convenient. I appreciate the percentage read out and how it shuts down after trickling up to 96%. I do not use this in wet weather and protect it from sunlight when it’s charging, especially in our 98° summers. I could have gotten the 15a instead of this slow 6a again but why ruin what has been a perfect system for me.Original 2020 review: This charger worked when the batteries were so dead that the ezgo chrager would not. The read out told me that it would not charge past 60% which allowed me to get it down the road but know not to trust it. I knew that at least one of the batteries in the bank had gone bad. Since I like to tinker, this has been a great tool to let me know more of what is going on with the cart. It charges very slowly but it works well.
